It's 30.0. If you have the same stock post my 2001 Stinky has, you're probably looking to replace it. Good luck finding a 30.0 post with setback. The only 30.0 I've found is the Syncros, sans setback.

Anyone know of a 30.0 post they can recommend, or do you have anything to share regarding shims?

Monte over on Passion bought one to replace his stock Stinky post. Page him there for more info, I don't think he checks this board.

As they use some wierd type of frames I can't post the exact URL.

The single bolt seatposts from Kona are garbage, but they do make a two bolt system that works really well.
Kona has admitted that their posts were faulty from the get go and will warranty the single bolt posts, by replacing the faulty bolt. Thanks for nothing. The upgrade to their Interlock post makes all the difference. Try one and see.

they havent changed the bolt spec off their 2000 issue interlock post (or maybe thats what you were heard???). I believe they were a fine pitch M4 bolt with brass inserts to mate. I had a terrible mystery creek until the total strippage of the brass inserts and bolts solved that mystery.
Norco uses 30.0mmLT1

Many 2001 Norco bikes use a 30.0. Try their website, I believe their "house" brand Axiom has a few models. It's basically a Kalloy, but a seatpost is a seatpost, and you could buy 3 of these for the price of a Syncros. Older Marins also used 30.0. I had one and it was really tough to find a replacement. I do not recommend you get one from a Marin, it's basically the Ritchy single bolt infinite adjustment and it never stays in place.
