I am building my Edco/Tomac rear hub with a Mavic 321 instead of the normal SW that comes with it. I am trying to calculate spoke length. I dont have the rim with me(it's in the shop). The hub flange diameter is 63mm, the ctr to flange is 41.95mm. The wheel will be zero dish. What I need is the effective rim diameter of a 36 hole Mavic 321? If you can givce me the ERD and the spoke length, even better. Thank you in advance.

Pleeeeeez. one of you geniuses can hook me with the knowledge, right?

Peace,
Rich

There is a spoke calculator with everything you need to know for your setup on www.dtswiss.com

ERD is: 540

Flange diameter: 45

Width center to flange: 34, 19

Spoke hole diameter: 2, 5

That is for use with a 135mm Edco rear hub.
Yeah but I have the TOMAC edco rear hub...B-B-BigRichDL

like 165mm. The 540 number is what I needed though. Thanks.

I tried for a long time to get my rear wheel built. I ordered 2 sets of spokes and had to cut the secound ones to fit. With the straight pull spokes you have to use the 4 cross calc. I used this site to get the length after my failed atempts. http://www.wheelpro.co.uk/ It used to be a free thing.
Dude, I have the new hub not the old oneB-B-BigRichDL

It is 36 hole and uses reg. pull spokes. YOu prob;ems are why Tomac changed the hub.
