| Romic Boxxer Crown | TurnerBoy Jan 7, 2002 11:41 PM | | I thought you guys might want to check out the new crown from Romic. The made it mainly for people who have the short crown who need to upgrade to the 1.5" drop of the tall crown. This crown makes the fork much stiffer and is way easier to install. For those who have Boxxer, you know how hard it can be to get your top crown on. It's a nice finishing touch to anyones DH rig! |
| Tboy.... | rmSE7EN Jan 8, 2002 6:57 AM | | ...thanks for posting them pics. I assume since your name is TurnerBoy and the pics are of the crown on a Turner, you own the crown and it's installed on your bike (then again, I don't own and RM7 and my screen name is rmSE7EN... oh well) Anyway, I've a couple o' questions for you:
What did that thing set you back $$$?
Where did you purchase it? Last I checked, it wasn't even on their website.
Thanks,

| Romic Boxxer Crown | TurnerBoy Jan 8, 2002 9:32 AM | | I got mine at the shop I ride for. The shop is The Bike Company in Southern California. Retail on this crown is $149. I believe that is about the same price Rock Shox charges for a replacement crown. |
| Romic Boxxer Crown | mtnbikej Jan 8, 2002 10:12 AM | | That is what I paid for my Romic crown. It is very nice. Way easy to install. The only problem I had was I did not recieve the bolt for the headtube clamp. A quick trip to the hardware store fixed that. It is not on the website....nothing is.....website is still under construction. mtnbikej |
