What is the widest rear tyre that fits to SC Bullit with

If you want to use your granny gear. I'm using a Michelin 2.5 and still have the granny.

and am currently running a 2.5 Maxxis Mobster.

I think you could go slightly bigger.

Do you see a big difference between the Mobster and the Highroller?

I've switched to a Mobster in the front but kept the Highroller in the back.

thanks!

Only one ride on the 2.5 Mobster 60 so far....CraigH

but have over a year of time on a few 2.5 HighRoller 60s.

The Mobster might be a little more "sticky"?

I changed for a couple of reasons, one is that one of the guy I ride with raves about the Mobster, and the other is that Maxxis specs the Mobster for wetter conditions and the HighRoller is for dryer conditions. Seeing I ride in a rain forest and it is the rainy season now, I figured it was worth trying.

I'm trying to find a 2.7 Mobster 50 compound here in Vancouver to put on the front.

are you using? I have a 2000 Mr.T and the 2.5 is already so close to the arch that I figured a 2.7 would probably touch (although I didn't try).

I'm in quebec so dry condition are rare, I guess I should try it to see if it's better on wet rocks & roots.

Thanks for the info!

I'm currently using a 2.7 Intense in 60 compound on the front. The Intense tires aren't that popular around here. They might be designed for dry conditions?

It is the only front tire I've had on the bike so can't compare it to anything else.

How's the Mr.T feels in bullit? I know it's a bit heavy, so does the bike's front feel unbalanced and over weigth compared to frame?

I'm building freeride/dh-bike basis of the bullit frame and I haven't decide yet what fork I'm going to get.

Perhaps one of the Marzocchi double crowns. Super T, Mr T or Shiwer?

I've tried about every combo on the original 1998 swingarm and my 2002 swingarm. Older swingarms ( without the dimples ) will rub slightly with anything 2.5 or larger - my high roller rubbed a little groove into my old swingarm. The new dimpled swingarm was able to run a cheezy Kenda 2.6 without problems. The intense 2.7 and maxxis 2.7's I've tried were both to big for the dimpled swingarms - major rubbing. The 321's are definitely SWEET no matter what meats you run on them!
Darn, I was hoping to run my Intense 2.7 on the rear....CraigH
