What bottom bracket?Jeff G.

I'm having a hard time deciding on what BB to get fellas. I need a isis drive BB that will take a serious ass whoopin, and I also plan on using the Evil Bikes freeride chainguide as soon as it's available. Who makes a bomb proof BB that will accommodate North Shore cranks and the Evil Bikes guide(2rings).

Basically my set-up is going to be like running a granny, middle, and a bash, exept I'll have a roller attached as well. What length would I need for my 01 Bullit? Thanks
I'm using a regular length on mine....CraigH

the DH length is probably required if you are using a conventional chain guide.

Ask your roller maker (Evil?) if they need a longer than stock BB.

Going from memory, I think the regular is about 113, the DH is 122. These numbers might be out a little.
Ahh..thanks again wise one : ) nmJeff G.

No, spindle lengths are... AND RF makes a nice one(I think)urbanman

118 and 128 for the 2002 DH signature series bb from RF. It has somewhat of an adjustable chainline using spacers on the drive side and the left cup is adjustable. My guess is the 118 would work fine for your application. The spindle is higher grade than last years and the bearings have been improved over last years XS Isis DH. I own the 128, but haven't installed it on my Disco yet cause I don't have the special tool needed. RF tech told me a Park BBT-2 would work, but no go, the spindle stops the tool from reaching the cup.
The bb looks very nice. Wide sealed needle bearings and some other ones internally I think. Gold ano cups preped with lock tite and a spacer for chainline.
Check 'em out, they look good
I guessed at the lengths....CraigH

I have 2 versions of the Park BBT-2, one fits the RF BB, the other older doesn't. How new is your tool? The new ones work.

You can modify the older tool to fit if you have access to a lathe, that is all that Park has done, they have removed metal from the ID of the tool to clear the spindle.
If anybody cares..JeffG

Evil Bikes said that any 113mm BB will do the trick, and the XT 112.5 will also work. Anything bigger will have to be shimmed out.
