I need help in choosing a frame to build as well as a fork for it. What are some affordable bulletproof hardtail frames built for punishment?
Thanks

GT Zascar is one of the tuffest frames around. Take it from me. I am 250lbs ++ and have had mine for 3 years now. I've done XC, freeride, and lift-serve DH with some spectacular, dare I say, legendary crashes (bent a fork at the crown straight back). Last year I lent it to my sister-in-law and she raced on it all summer. I have several bikes that use and then sell when I get tired of them, but the one that I will never sell is the GT Zascar. The nice thing is that they are on sale everywhere right now because of the bankrupsy. GT said that they will continue to provide the same CS as before.

At Supergo they have an aluminum frame for $99 and some places have the Bump apblaster which is like $300 also Azonic frames are reasonable they have 2 models for around $300 I was thinking of building up a Supergo Access with my extra parts for a $100 bucks who cares if it breaks.
