Jan 8, 2002 3:39 PM | | Im thinking of a mavic d321 or a d521 rim. everybody ive talked to says go for the mavics. theyll be used for racing and freeride. im 115 pounds, if there isnt much of an weight differance then dont compare them that way. Aldo ill need a good, reliable hub to match these. 9mm in the rear and 20mm in the front. price range is 475 canadian at the most (im guessing that 230 us?)

Jan 8, 2002 4:01 PM | | Honestly I don't think you could go wrong with either of them. I've had the 521's with Hadley hubs for a little over a year now with no complaints. I seriously pound these rims and I've only had to true them once after the intial break in. I can't comment on the 321's but I hear nothing but good reviews as well. |
