mavic d321 or d521?schwinnson

Im thinking of a mavic d321 or a d521 rim. everybody ive talked to says go for the mavics. theyll be used for racing and freeride. im 115 pounds, if there isnt much of an weight differance then dont compare them that way. Aldo ill need a good, reliable hub to match these. 9mm in the rear and 20mm in the front. price range is 475 canadian at the most (im guessing that 230 us?)
thanks for anything

521's are stronger and lighter in my experiance. And dude, if you only weigh 115, you need to save as much weight as possible. Especially if it's rotational. 521s not doubt.

Honestly I don't think you could go wrong with either of them. I've had the 521's with Hadley hubs for a little over a year now with no complaints. I seriously pound these rims and I've only had to true them once after the intial break in. I can't comment on the 321's but I hear nothing but good reviews as well.

Also tire fit is important aswell ad the amount of pinch flats both of these rims will have on average. And one other thing, could somebody give me some prices on hadley hubs or anyother good hubs aswell as the rim prices

if your looking for dh/freeride rims i haven't seen more all in one place than at cambriabike.com. you can find both the 321 and the 521 w/ prices. it's a us site but i'm sure they'll ship to canada. keep in mind they are us prices. check out the reviews on this site, too.
I've got both...kpb

And love them both, see my post up above. I agree with the other poster here that if you weigh 115 you should stick with the lightest possible, maybe even check out the Rhyno Lite XL, that's what I used when building my wifes bike.
