| re: balfa bb7 or specialized big hit dh (qualitie, price) | Big Dawg Jan 9, 2002 1:37 PM | | Have them both and I like the big hit better with my 8" link. Pedals better and handles big hits better. Try it! |
| Big Hit Big Time | BigHitKyle Jan 9, 2002 2:35 PM | | I have a 2001 Specialized Big Hit Comp with a Shiver and it is freaking awsome. If I was to buy another bike it would definetly be the 2002 Big Hit DH. Try one and you will find out why. |
| Big Hit Big Time | Daxo13 Jan 9, 2002 9:19 PM | | I gotta chime in for the Bighit as well. I have the 2002 with 8" link and Shiver up front--awesome! Pedals great, sorta sprints(haven't been hit by a car dashing across the street yet :-)), is torsionally stiff, and plush, plush, plush! Plus the 24" rear wheel makes it a manual champ and easier to drop off stuff. It helps it to turn very tight, too. Try it, you'll like it. You should be able to test ride one at almost any specialized dealer.
