I think he means that while the bike's sitting in a bike rack, birds can't accidentally change the suspension travel. It's a nice feature, especially since the birds would probably be drinking rainwater out of the trough axle anyway.

1. The head tube on a dirt bike is like 2" in diameter at least. 2. A dirt bike fork weighs about 20 pounds + or - a few.
3. Even the lightest springs you could buy are designed for a 210 pound bike and a minimum rider weight of 110 pounds. You could never use all of that travel on a mere 50 pound bike. You would break your arms and probably your back before you bottomed that thing out. I once did a 20' drop to flat at 45 miles per hour on my KX 250 (unintentionally; I failed to check out the landing). I still didn't bottom out the bike and I almost broke my arms and ankles on impact. On a good hucking bike such as a TMX or Army, you'd be lucky to use 9 inches before your arms broke.
4. If you want to get really crazy, just buy a damn MX bike. They're cheaper than a full blown hucking bike and blow them out of the water in every area of performance. Yeah, and go back to sleep. You'll come back to your senses in the morning. Good luck to ya!

Dude, what's all this talk of big this and big that? Are you trying to compensate for a lack in another area all together? There are pumps you can buy for that you know and I don't mean a Blackburn. Nah, just kidding but that is a bad idea though. You'll never be able to use all the travel and you'd just be lugging all that extra weight for nothing.
