Any Bullit riders out there, I need some help setting up this crazy shock. I weigh 180, and have a 375 lb spring. How should I set it up?
SC has a set up sheet, dig you get one with your shock?CraigH

My shock hasn't arrived yet. Did you get it with the frame, or just the shock?

I thought that was a big oil piggyback on the side of the 5th element like a Fox. I didn't realize that was an air chamber. This really lets me down. I was very interested in the shock until I saw this. I wanted a coil shock for durability. Progressive's info says the air must be checked every ride and inadequate air pressure may result in damage to the shock that is not covered under warranty. That doesn't sound like the type of set it a forget it type of performance that I would buy a coil shock for.

That's exactly what turns me off about that shock. It seems like a serious pain in the ass to setup and adjust. Let us all know if all those adjustments are worth it. Thanks

I think people have gotta chill out a little about having an air chamber on the 5th element.i havent ridden it myself but know someone trustworthy who rode it in veGa$.He says that it feels like alot more travel than it is but without suffering in the pedaling department.im all about that.everyone who is afraid to check an air pressure on thier shock before a ride shouldnt be riding hard period beacuse they're dangerous.there are vital componets that should be checked b4 every ride like skewers/axles,fork/rr shock hardware,crankbolts and tire pressure.if you ride an xtr crank loose and it strips the splines,thats not warranteed,and niether should a shock with an ignorant user.take the extra little step,using the pump and get performance youve dreamed of.nobody knows about the durability of the shock yet becuase it hasnt been out long enough,but performance is unmatched.

My setup sheet says that a M frame is supposed to have a 275 spring stock, but mine says 325 on it. Now I ain't complaining because my fat arse is actually somewhere between the max for that spring (180) and the min for the 325, but it was confusing. had to take a tape measure to the frame to make sure it was the right thing.

I put the fork on last sunday and got the wheels on there so I could cycle the shock and the rebound is slooooowwwww. I adjusted the rebound control all the way to the less damping side but it's still really really slow. is your's like that? I set the air pressure to 125 like the manual says but I haven't touched the preload any other settings (cept rebound)...

haffta get the cranks on there so I can really cycle the thing a bit.
