$2700 for TMX framekit: sound okay?Need advice
Jan 29, 2002 8:10 AM
hey all. a friend of mine would sell me a Tmx frame kit in great condition for 2700.00. How does this sound? It includes avalanche rear and spare rcr, cranks, guide, hub blah blah all the things that the kit comes with. Would this be a good investment and a smart choice, size wise and monetary, for a 6'3'' hucker who breaks stuff like no tommorow? thanks to all!

I'll sell you a TMX (black) in great condition, with all of that but with a Risse J5 (custom built), and a back up RCR (blown), for $2000, plus shipping. For the $700 difference you can buy an Avalanche set up just for you, and have a better back up shock (not you'd probably need one). Plus I have 4 springs for the shock. It's already been parted out, I can take a better pic this week.

Sounds like a deal. But...How tall is your friend? Have you ridden his TMX at all? It's one size.
You'll probably only break it if you either A) Get sandwitched by 2 cars or hit a big tree going 30mph.
