How insane a hassle to get a 2002 Bullit / Avalancherm99

Do I need to order the frame and sell the shock it comes with?
Can I get a frame w/o the shock and order an Avalanche for it?

Would the Fox, being more standard have more resale value?

Zonic Man are you reading this?....what did you do?

Thanks

Every dealer is different. If you go in and talk to them IN PERSON, you can probably get more out of them.

Also, they'll know whether or not you can get the frame w/out shock and what they'll let you swap or not.
I don't think you would have a problem selling a 5th Elementkristian

Just about every Bullit owner here seems to get weak in the knees at the mention of the 5th Element. Santa Cruz is selling them as an upgrade for $325 (including the new shuttle). If you sold it completely unused, I think you could easily get $275 (keeping your shuttle) for it and sell it in a day or two.

90% of all Bullit riders are currently using the Fox shock so you would have to find someone who had blown their shock and WASN'T looking to upgrade to a 5th Element or an Avalanche if you wanted to sell the Fox.

Here's the steps.Zonic Man

1. Buy Bullit from LBS. 2002 model or 2001 or before with the new shock shuttle.

2. If you buy new, get the 5th element upgrade. Kiddies will buy this thing I am sure.

3. Now you have your bullit in hand, without a shock (you HAVE to buy it with the shock), call Craig at avalanche. Answer TRUTHFULLY all his questions, because if you are not totally honest, then the bike will be set up wrong. HE WILL SET IT UP FOR YOU. So be sure to honestly answer his questions.

4. Not an insane hassle at all. Enjoy.
perfect, thanks-nmrm99
