| re: SixSixOne race knee and shin guards | tubby Jan 29, 2002 1:57 PM | | i wear them and love them......in fact i'm going to marry them. ok, sorry, got a little carried away. they are good pads, they stay up a lot better than the fox pads and arent as hot as the roach's. i've had some gnarly crashes in them and they've done their job, no lost skin. i did rip the knee cup off of the right one when i fell through a log bridge stunt but i tied it back on with shoelace and isn't hasn't failed yet. i say get them! |
| re: SixSixOne race knee and shin guards | Chris S Jan 29, 2002 3:58 PM | | I don't even notice them when I'm racing except that they stay up when I crash. For the price, you can't beat them.... |
| re: SixSixOne race knee and shin guards | James Jan 29, 2002 4:10 PM | | I bought a pair and rode them for the first time yesterday. Construction quality is very solid and very good if you ask me. They fit very well on my skinny legs (I am 5'9" and 175 lbs and I bought a medium) and stay up very nicely. I have owned Azonic, Axo, Dainese and tried on some Fox guards and I think these are the best out of all of them, regardless of price. |
| just one think to watch | bighit Jan 29, 2002 7:59 PM | | i got them and they didnt fit. there was no way they were going on. the straps were too small. just be careful when ordering, you might call first to see what will fit. they were dirt cheap and looked good for the price. |
