| NORCAL underground | zachdank Dec 9, 2003 11:37 PM | | we have some of the sickest trails on the face of the earth. |
| SOCAL underground | WestCoastHucker Dec 10, 2003 2:27 PM | | we have better drop/gaps though......... |
| SOCAL underground | zachdank Dec 10, 2003 6:12 PM | | that is a prety sick gap. those are a dime a dozen up here. we have everything from hundreds of feet of north shore skinnys to huge drops in the buttes to 30+ feet doubles on downhill trails. check out some of the pics on pinkbike in the big air department. |
| NORCAL. | Macdaddy Dec 10, 2003 9:41 PM | | WE have so many jump parks. All of Marin is built up with illegal shit and you can actually ride it. Since the hikers are bitches, its like war, so you go to sand hill ranch. Dual slalom and MX and Dh. Sick. Dont see any of those in SOCAL do ya. Then you go to pacifica, hit those trails which are the best freeide. Then maybe to DMC to hit some fat ass gaps (like 30 foot ravines). Then a session at calabasis and hit all the new stuff. Then go to aptos and do the braille trail and post office jumps. Then, go to tahoe with SNOW and go ski in those jumps. All in 1 day. BTW, Westcoast, that foes is sick. The reason why I (we) up in Norcal call those terds is because of the shock jack and the chain/ crank lock up every pedal stroke. |
| SOCAL | WestCoastHucker Dec 11, 2003 8:32 AM | | hehe... like we don't support the bomb underground trails down here. lots of sweet rocky drop trials, not too much NS style stuff. we take our kickers out and make 30 foot gaps everyday. cruise over to huntington beach and hit up sheep hills, now those are world class dirt jumps, ask any who's been there. 8-12 foot tall STEEP dubbs sporting 20+ foot caps min, hardcore rhythms. i ride callabazzas all the time and shells in foster city,(only places i've DJ'ed in norcal) those places are beginner places in comparison. hell, up on our hill we sport rhythms like this.......... |
