| Flexy front end | Eat Dirt Dec 10, 2003 12:01 AM | | I have been noticing lately that the front end of my bike seems to flex more than I would like it to. I'm guessing its mostly due to my Psylo SL (non QR20) but it could also be the wheels. Is there a good way to tell?
I was thinking about swapping out my hub with a 20mm one and getting a new fork, something like a Marzocchi Z1 or Z150. So im wondering, for what it would cost, would this be a worthy improvement? Will I be able to feel the difference while im riding?
Thanks in advance |
| this will make a huge difference...... | WestCoastHucker Dec 10, 2003 12:21 PM | | my DJ1 w/ thru axle feels 10 times stiffer than my Z1 w/ qr, after this amazing discovery, i would NEVER go back to a non thru axle single crown.
the cost could be spendy depending on what you are looking at, but there are many reasonably priced setups that will last and last. you will be glad you made the switch, considering you are already noticing the flex..... |
