I'm looking for recommendations for winter x-games DH tires. I would assume studded tires are too skinny and don't offer increased traction on any surface other than ice. Shoud I just run my Gazzi Jr. at low pressure? I don't think my Kenda Kollasal in back has enough grip. Anything better?
Another question...My DS-1 or my bullit? There are no bumps on the course. So would a more agile hardtail be better? I don't think the Gazzi Jr. will fit on the DS-1's DJIII though. Would the DS-1's Kenda Kinetics handle packed powder?

Could you explain. I thought that got cancelled like two years ago or something. Are they re-introducing it???

We have the NY state X games, I was held here at Swain Mt. among other places for the past 3-4 years. I beleive they're having it again this year. Even if they're not, I'd still appreciate info on tires/set-ups for ski trails.
