Sponsorship for Dirt Jump Park in Boise, IDsmilycook
Dec 11, 2003 12:56 PM
I am looking for some suggestions and contacts for sponsorship to build a dirt jump park in Boise, ID. This is a official dirt jump park to be build on city parks land.

We are looking for ideas on sponsorship to raise the money to build the park.

Thanks,
Chris

hey chris,
my name is brad.
i am a bsu student. i went to the get together at smoky mountain pizza back in oct. and have seen various other proposals going around for bike stuff in boise.
the ideas thrown around at the meeting were good i thought:
possible donation of equipment for earthmoving (bobcats) was a good one.
are any of the local shops like bob's or b2b or imt willing to donate $$ or even set out donation cans at their stores?
how much money are we looking for?
if you need someone to draft sponsorship letters to present to businesses i would be willing to work with you on that.

We are looking for about 5000 total. Right now it looks like swimba will provide 1600 or maybe a little more. I already have a donation for a bobcat.

We are also going to run a bike swap on march 13th to raise money for dirt jumps, skillz park, and trails so let all your friends know show up a shop or volenteer to help out on the day of the event. You should see posters soon, and we are going to get toegther the dirt jump people from the last meeting again soon.
