| My rig | where did you get that s Nate Dec 12, 2003 1:38 PM | | DOes it help? I'm building a supermoto with a swinger way. Wondering if I should put the cover on there. |
| Not followin ya there chief, whatcha talkin bout?.........nm | Nate N Dec 12, 2003 2:11 PM | | |
| Wow. I just re-read my post-I couldn't follow it either | shaine Dec 12, 2003 2:50 PM | | In your pic, you have what looks like a lizard skin on the rear coil. Do you feel that's a good idea? What's the point of it? Is it just to keep mud etc out of the coil? I have a swinger 4-way and was wondering if I should put the cover on mine. |
| just don't leave it on all the time... | BigMike Dec 14, 2003 7:46 AM | | ...i ruined a fox air shock once cause i never took the lizard skin off. dirt can still get inside no matter how good the fit is. it's a good idea to use one especially in muddy areas, just take it off and clean under it every few rides or so... |
| Here's mine... | D Buck Dec 12, 2003 10:53 AM | | 888 in the works hopefully after christmas...Sorry for the crappy picture. |

| Interesting... | Fat Jeff Dec 12, 2003 12:51 PM | | 4 bikes so far and I noticed 3 trends...
3 have swiched to a 8" rotor in the back
3 have Shiver forks up front
3 have chain keepers- 2 Evil & 1 MRP
Looks like we can agree on some things here...

| Interesting... | Nate N Dec 12, 2003 12:55 PM | | Actually, the pic of mine is old. It now has an MRP on it, and the 8" rotor kit is on order as we speak. |
| Interesting... | ralph Dec 14, 2003 11:27 PM | | are you from hawaii??..which island..we were planning in coming there for a few days..how are the trails there?? |
| another one | Lucky13 Dec 12, 2003 1:09 PM | | MonsterT is on the way along with 8" rotors (narrow track baby!), Vanilla RC with a bit longer i2i, to make it 7", new tires (someday) and some good rock guard.
That's it folks! |
| cheers guys | uk dahnhilla Dec 12, 2003 1:36 PM | | thanks, Mine has a 22-32 ring setup with a bashguard..do you think I should upgrade to a chainguide or not bother? I mainly do a bit of everything 'freeride' i suppose, mainly downhill and street but plenty of messing around on it! they are great bikes! |
| cheers guys | ds_racer Dec 12, 2003 2:49 PM | | heres my bike. i hate that picture. is has those little tiny tires on it. makes it look ugly. atleast to me. here are some pics. |

| re: post your Bighit pics? Need inspiration! | bluzrider Dec 13, 2003 12:19 AM | | you guys have sweet setups..i just got a 02 BigHit a week ago. Still stock components. I was thinking of going with a 2-ring up front and a DC. Who makes a good 2-ring set up? Would I need a new derailier? I see you guys use Evil and MRP. Any suggestions for my BigHit would be appreciated. |
| MRP and Evil both make great two ring systems... | D Buck Dec 13, 2003 8:57 AM | | What is really comes down to, it how thick of a bashguard you want. The MRP is paper thin compared to the EVIL. My choice would go to the EVIL, I have the SRS and is has worked flawlessly for a few months now. And that bashguard has taken some hits that I know would have demolished other guards. So, I wouldn't think twice about their other products. |
