Dec 12, 2003 3:38 PM | | going to run up front also. but that range is a good general all arounder. often times in DH situations, people will even choose to run smaller cassette (ie road cassette) and run road derailleurs, short cage. smaller stuff = better clearance in techy hairy stuff. i currently run these with a 40 up front and a 12-23 in the rear. low enough to climb if needed, high enough to mob down. |
