SRAM Rocket w/ shimano der.(4 posts)

SRAM Rocket w/ shimano der.jmvar

Any one ever use a setup with a Sram Rocket shifter and a shimano derralure? I love grip shifters but I hate having to track down a sram rear derallure everytime I smash it up on a rock. No LBS near me stocks them.

I know that they are compatible but it is one thing to be compatible and another to actually work as desired....

thanks

Works just fine, I have this set up on two bikes. Just be sure you have the ROCKET shifters, not the ESP...different cable pulls and the ESP will only work with the Sram changers.

works great. Switching to X.7 and X.O next spring though, just love the soft X.O grips. Rockets are tough as nails though.
