hey

iv been offerd a giant 02 dh team in top condition should i buy it? i have an RM7 at the mo and i love it but i think the dh team is stronger and will allow me to do more...? is it worth me getting it? it is at good price but i have herd the linkages come lose quite often and this can cause damage. i will be putting good parts on it like shivers, north shores, atomlab, hayes and easton. i race DH and do alot of freeride.

any help would be great thanks

you should only get it if it is less than 3000$ I have one, and yes, i have broken the swingarm twice, but if you can manage to get some thread locker in there the right way, it's definetly the way too go. Giant also just came outr with a new updated swingarm that you can put on the original front triangle. the linkage is much better on. It comes with a boxxer and hayes disc brakes and just a warning:the original seat on it is titanim. and it is extremely weak, and will break on the 2nd run, garunteed. but i sugest gettingh some thread locker for the linkage. it's thje cheeepest way out of this problem.m Also, it will be a lot heavier than any rm7 but it will take a beating better than your car will. Get it if it is under 3000$
I have an 02 with the Updated swingarm if you are interestedgoodtimes

I've got a '03 Giant DH Comp for sale if you want it. it has a much better rear shock than the '02. its only been ridden a couple of times and has several upgrades already. 0 linkage problems with '03. i am also willing to sell it without the fork for a lower price too. let me know if you are interested.
