My Enduro is alot smaller then that and I was hitting 30 foot gaps and 15 foot drops on it.. but then it broke after about 2 years..

i wouldnt imagine it will be to long before the fox goes, i demo'ed that bike and gave it a beatin, it bottomed out quite a bit off the smaller 5fters so i cant imagine that the shock wont last to long if your gonna be huckin it alot. i dunno about the frame, a guy i ride with broke 2 gemini 2000s and is on a gemini DH now, cannondales are notorious for cracking, hence the nickname "craknfail" given to it by members on the board.
you should be able to go fairly big....biker3

I have an 03' and althought it has an RC on the back its not all that much different then an R. I haven't gone huge on mine but ive done 5-6 ft to flat and it felt fine. Don't listen to the crack and fail crap Cannondale is the way to go. Handmade in the USA baby and plus your got a 3 yr frame warranty so you shouldn't have to worry about anything. Anyway good choice on the bike I hope you love it I love mine!
cannondale didnt get the name cracknfail for nothin...kona clump

they break...in the past 3 months there have been 3 broken cannondale frames brought into the shop by CROSS COUNTRY riders.not to mention the guy i talked about above on his 3rd cracknfail frame. i havent seen any other frames being brought in because they cracked tho.. cannondale makes an excellent road bike but id never buy anything other than maybe that. dont listen to that usa bullshit either, its good to buy products handbuilt in the usa but when the product has a reputation of failing then its obvious where to draw the line. how many banshees have you heard about snapping breaking on this forum? none, and guess where thats made, overseas..
