5th Element on 2001 Uzzi-SLXAV
Jan 23, 2004 10:39 AM
I am looking into getting a 5th element for my 2001 Uzzi-SLX and was at Progressive's site. It says you need to send your frame back to Intense for modification to run the 5th element coil shock. Just wondering what people have done. I really don't want to strip my bike down, ship it to Intense, and then wait to get it back. If any body has some insight it would be much appreciated. Hopefully someone will let me know before this forum is down as the other one is a pain.

The 5th is to wide for the 01 seat mast. Your 01 needs a new seat mast/or mod and the two piece link and hardware for the 5th.

I'd get the Fox pro pedal and keep the one piece link, its
stiffer. The pro pedal has a more lively feel to it.
