Nov 5, 2003 4:56 AM | | Last year, it was on the same weekend as the Mattawa 100km (http://www.onlink.net/mtb-enduro/) which is a good event and about the same driving distance from my place as the Jay 60. I've already done Mattawa and it's a good race so I'd like to do it again. I'm hoping it won't be scheduled the same weekend as the Jay event because I'd like to do it as well.
It also seems like they've added distance this year eh? If there's one thing I didn't really care for, it's their apparent adventure race twist where you get a time bonus (4 minutes) for successfully crossing a bridge within your first 2 attempts. I really don't care for artificial manipulation of time, IMO that's tinkering with one of the best aspects of MTB racing - the quickest always wins. |
