I have no experience with this bike, though I can tell my wife's RM Element is a well built (and assembled) bike. Have you checked the review section of this website? If its short on reviews for the ETSX-70, look at other ETSX models (all same frame).
Dirt Rag reviewed a RM in Issue 101 and the test-rider liked the bike's attributes. It wasn't light (27#), but it was an ETSX-50. The 70 is probabaly lighter. The review is here:
