just a bit heavy (still lighter than 7.0 9 speed) because of the steel binder. otherwise works as fine as 9.0

I just bought the 5.0 cassette and pc-58 chain from Performance for $33. Great equipment, great price, runs smooth. Not the lightest stuff in the world, though, but I'm not a weight weenie so I don't care.

4+ months on mine and it's shifting and holding up great. I don't know if mines a freak or what but my 11-28 is an actual 235 grams, slightly lighter than any XT 8 spd I've had. Can't go wrong for $19 at Jenson.
