shifting performance of RF and FSA cranksets?(1 post)

shifting performance of RF and FSA cranksets?Don
Oct 12, 2001 8:01 PM
I'm building up a bike with full XTR drivetrain (crankset, BB, F/R Derail, shift pods, cassette) but thinking about alternatives for the crankset and BB. I'd like to improve appearance and save weight by going to a Ti BB and either Raceface Next or FSA Carbon Pro crankset.

Question is, would I loose any shifting performance with non-Shimano chainrings, or introduce any other driveline problems? Thanks.
