Giant front deralleur size???Giant Rider

Building a 98 Giant Yukon for my son and can't remember what size front derailleur it takes. yes the frame is aluminum. Anybody have any ideas???...

It's either 31.8mm or 34.9mm. Take a caliper and measure the diameter of the seat tube, that's all there is to it. I know older ATX-series used 34.9, don't know about your bike.
