'03 XTR vs. '04 XT rear derailleursmids76

Looking to upgrade and not sure which way to go. Thought I was sold on last years XTR but now the '04 XT stuff looks tempting.

I'd check out the '04 XT, now that they come in Rapid-Rise (Low Normal in the new lingo). I'm hooked on RR, and last year got a good deal on an '03 XTR for $89.

But if I had to buy one now, with RR available on XT for $60, versus XTR for $120, I'd try out an XT.
More conservative riders advise is not to spend that much on ..Lafayette

I agree with that opinion,but I don´t follow it.I have a(RR) 03 XTR :-)
