| xt '04 vs. xtr '04 rear derrailleur | drico Jan 2, 2004 4:02 AM | | I have xt hubs and xt cassette,which derrailleur should i get,xt '04 or xtr '04? |
| Whichever you want... | Homebrew Jan 2, 2004 10:49 AM | | XTR might last a bit longer but costs a lot more. XTR has a Ti bolt, "sealed" bearing jockey wheels and Teflon coated pivot pins. XT uses bushings in the jockey wheels which might require a bit more maintenance. XTR definitely has the bling bling chi chi factor going for it. |

xt is twice heavier and half of the price of xtr. I got 760 and it
works fine for me , keep in mind they both have reverse shifting
which may feel weird at the begining.
