XTR vs Next LP?(2 posts)

XTR vs Next LP?CulBaire

Howdy Y'all,

I am after a crankset for my next, upcoming lightweight trail bike project and I was looking for opinions on the (new 03 / 04) XTR and Raceface's NEXT LP cranks.

The bike itself will be a light weight trail bike (down to 10.1kg atm), which will be used for pretty much everything XC / Trail / Enduro Racing / XC racing if the makes any difference.

Anyways I was just wondering on the stiffness of both cranks in mention; I am a real pedal masher at times and I was wondering if the lightweight factor affects both sets of cranks in terms of stiffness?

Both are raltively the same price in Australia, so thats no worry... Any thoughts?

Thanx
