Titanium Sports, cheap TI (8 posts)
| Titanium Sports, cheap TI | Rider Sep 27, 2001 11:26 AM | | Anybody got some feedback on Titanium sports TI frame good or bad ?
They have a $650 MTB frame that might be interesting. Too flexy ?
Thanks. |

Dean has good Ti frames for a wee bit more.
Better yet, look into used Ti frames.

The finish is not polished. It had a stratos air shock. The down tube is large dia and bi-ovalized. Should be stiff enough. This frame looks just like the Dean soft tail to me. The prices on their web site are pretty good. There were no decals on the frame. Dave |

| re: Titanium Sports, cheap TI | mattv2099 Sep 28, 2001 7:08 AM | | I run a TST frame. I bought it about 2 months ago. I've raced and trained on it. It's a hell of a lot stiffer than my old aluminum homegrown. These guys are the real deal. Their frames are so cheap 'cuz they want to liquidate them and concentrate on wheelchair manufacture. They are a Washington company. I am from WA. In the local NORBA series there is a good number of people (semi-pros and experts) racing on TST frames. I'm so happy that I've considered buying a second frame.... I just wish their road frames came in my size! I'm a big, lanky, 6'3" weirdo.
If you happen to live in the NW you should be able to find someone with one of their bikes.
Also, they build the Kona, giant, mongoose, etc ti frames. |

Thanks |
