And while we're at it, what happened to those Tioga Disc wheels Tomac used to ride? I want one of those too.

Sep 28, 2001 5:53 AM | | last I heard, Jeff Lindsay of Mountain Goat had stopped making/selling bikes. Too bad, he was one of the originals, and a nice guy. I could see wanting a tension disk for collectors' purposes, but not for riding. His mech, bicycle bob, told me one season, JT went through 22 (!) of those wheels. |

Sep 28, 2001 2:30 PM | | I've been riding a Mountain Goat Whiskeytown Racer since '96. It's one with team colors(green w/orange splatters--think Sierra Nevada Pale Ale). Too bad they don't make them any more because they're great frames. I plan to keep mine forever. |
