Can I reverse my 27.2 layback so it becomes a....layforward post with out compromising the structural integrity of the post. Im just tweaking my riding position.

Don't see why not. I did it by mistake when I first installed it. Couldn't figure out what was the matter, until I realized I had installed the saddle backwards. Doh!

to put the hash pipe away for a while when assembling your bike.

it helps to have the hash pipe handy when assembling your bike. It doesn't help with assembly, of course, but it does wonders for keeping you mellow when you strip the threads of your new XTR cranks.
