question about Frogs and their cleats...(5 posts)

question about Frogs and their cleats...dustin

are they easy to walk in? i've got the '00 Specialized Teams and am looking for a pedal/cleat that's better than the stock Shimanos i have, but that are also easy to walk in. if the Frogs would be a bad choice, what's a good choice? (not platform)
I've had my FROGSflatlander

I've had my FROGS for 7 years(love them), broke one pair after about 3 years in a nasty fall, shop replaced it for free. I use 00' Specialized Comp shoes, if I remember right 00' Specialized Teams have the same tread pattern. You can walk with them no problem, the cleats fit right in.
what about the Egg Beaters and ATACs? anyone experienced? nmdustin

but that's just my opinion.

Walking with cleats on the shoe: I haven't seen a set yet that don't touch the ground when you walk. It's not bad, but if you aren't careful you can slip on them.

I have a pair of Sidis with Frog cleats, and they're very stable.
