out of true. I think I may have damaged a part on the brake. I tried to adjust the rear brake arm, right side. I ended up probably damaging the micro pin that affixes to the frame in one of three holes (Santa Cruz Superlight frame) by taking the brake arm off several times. The pin is a little warped now. I could not
get any tension when used in the middle hole, so I put the pin in the upper hole. Brake now works, but is out of allignment with the other side and I am worried I may have damaged this pin and/or other parts. |
|  re: Brake adjustment | diamond Dec 25, 2001 11:47 AM | | if u take the other arm of and put it in the third hole as well and use the little screws on the arms it centre it. let more cable through if it still rubs. if the pin is damaged u cant replace it and u will have to buy a whole new brake. |
