| If you have $200 to spend.... | Santa Cruz Dec 11, 2001 8:26 AM | | I have a good situation. My mother in law is pretty well off. She usually buys gifts that sit in a closet to be given away. She asked my wife what to get me for Christmas. My wife in turn asked me. So being an MTBR fan I'm turning to my pals at MTBR to help me with this one. If you had two hundred bones to spend, what would you buy. (I'm trying to foucs on bike related stuff)
PS. Santa may be watching so keep in "R" rated or less. |

| I 2nd the lights... | Bonee Dec 11, 2001 8:54 AM | | If you already nightride and only have either a bar or helmet mount, get the other to make your rides better.
If you don't nightride, you should. I am actually not looking forward to the days getting longer. I should have gotten lights years ago. |
| depends on what you already have.... | E Dec 11, 2001 10:24 AM | | It's a start to a good fork...or a new frame.
I like the lights idea.

| oh baby! | Cabin Fever Dec 11, 2001 10:32 AM | | at this point, i would probably go for a King headset and one of those long flat bars from bontrager or titec. or i might get a new crankset. A wheel true stand would be nice, as would a repair stand! of course, this is all assuming i get them separately. |
| re: If you have $200 to spend.... | MntnMan Dec 11, 2001 11:25 AM | | I just recently replaced by RockSux fork for a Marzocchi Z3 Bomber Coil for $215. Best $215 I have spent on my bike. The next thing I would spend $200 on would be lights. I want to do some nite riding real bad. Need those lights. |
