I am looking for a cap that would fit/ replace my old plastic cap on the syncros hinge ahead stem and stickers that go on each side.
Let me know if anyone knows where to get one of those eliptical replacement caps, possibly even metal ones.

Jan 16, 2002 1:52 PM | | my LBS ordered one of them caps directly from GT or Sunshine Distributors, somebody like that. see what your shop can do. if they can't, try a shop that sells GT, since GT owns syncros. you'd better do it soon, i reckon, because as we all know, GT has been sold to the Pacific Wal Mart Conglomerate.
i think you're SOL on the stickers--and it would be kind of rough trying to line them up anyway. |

Sycros only warranties their stuff for two years against fatique, plus that steerer clamp design is kinda weird--puts some rather odd pressure on the steer tube. You can probably get a nice Titec or Kore stem on sale somewhere for the price of a new top cap. My $.02.
