2000 GT XCR-1000 for $550.00

If it's in your price range and there are no dents in the frame. Get it! It appears to be in Good shape! IS this an extra bike or a first bike. The $550 is a good deal for a full suspension.

had that exact same frame and as far as performance goes, it's fantastic. A lot of fun. A good deal at that price, GT bankruptcy nothwithstanding.

However, if you do buy it, inspect the shock bolts to see that they are NOT threaded all the way from head to tip; GT spec'd some bolts that were threaded all the way and this weakened the bolt resulting in some failures (like mine, for instance!) and frame damage.

However, I don't know if you will be able to find replacement parts, since GT went belly-up.
