| Yakima & Disc brake question | mtber Feb 16, 2002 10:43 PM | | I currently have a Yakima with Steelhead rails. Will I need the new "Viper Rail" for a Full Suspesion disc brake machine?(Fork Mount) I will be getting my new giant AC Air Lite in about 3 weeks. I wonder if the Psylo SL clears the steelhead? I just want to know before I go and pick it up with the steelheads, and have a problem with the Disc brakes. |

| re: Yakima & Disc brake question | Sofa Feb 17, 2002 5:37 PM | | I have a Yakima (not sure what model) and my Shimano XT disc on a Z1 wouldn't fit. I cut a small notch into it (hacksaw...dremel would work better)for the caliper to rest in. It's fine. Although, now my bike can only fit in mine, none of my friends' have theirs cut |

My diskbrake just touched it before and then I pushed in the bar abit and now it works the same and doesnt even touch the caliper anymore
Or do like someone said and cut it out |
