Rain-X on framefurball

Am I crazy or wouldn't Rain-X be a great thing to put on a frame or to help shed mud? Seems better than spray Pam.

why wouldn't you want mud on yo' frame? i wear it like a badge of honor. besides, if i was scared of dirt and mud, i'd ride road more.

I guess its a mix of being a sissy & also being tired of spending an hour driving then riding 2-3 then driving home then having to clean up with freezing water in the cold. Usually I go for the self inflicted gnarled & bruised leg look for my badge.
Certainly neater than Pam...Twilight Error®

I use Mothers California Gold paste wax on my bikes, but then I am nuts. My road bike espically looks good after a few coats of wax...

RainX is easy, I know several people that use Pledge furniture polish - cheaper and better smelling than RainX.

Ever seen what Rain-X does to paint? That's why the label sez "don't get it on the paint". Wax, Pledge, Pam your way to pretty bikes. Rain-X is for glass.
