I just bought a new 2001 K2 flyin monkey for $600. It has a rock shox judy xc fork, disc wheels, and a bunch of other good stuff. Is that a pretty good price? My main question is how to adjust and maintain the judy xc fork. It has the two knobs on top, and one on the bottom, What do they do ? Anybody else have this bike? Any problems with it? Thanks.
It's easy.Rookie

The knobs on top are preload adjuster knobs this will increas your spring rate when turned clockwise and decrease your spring rate as you turn it counter clockwise. the knob on the bottom is the dampening adjuster if you want the shock to react faster turn the knob counter clockwise. If you want the shock to react slower turn the knob clockwise. slower means less springy and faster means more springy like a pogo stick. usually on a rock shock people tend to turn the dampner all the way to the clockwise side r/s dampening doesn't really work very well(But thet's just my experience.)
