| My scales must be broke | Mr Tiles Mar 11, 2002 8:29 PM | | I've got a very similar set up and mine's at least 27 lbs...I better check those scales again...I don't see how your bike could be that light, especially with that fork...what's your secret, helium in the tires? lol! |
| Yours weighs the same as mine.... | Gary Mar 11, 2002 8:57 PM | | and I have some equiptment lighter than the other guy who posted. I weighed mine on a certified scale, also. Are some people just wishing? |
| Mine's not close | Mr Tiles Mar 12, 2002 9:00 AM | | I don't know where they are getting those figures from. Mine isn't even close to 23. I ride my bike hard and aggressive. I built mine a little heavier to withstand my riding style. I guess it's heavier because of the spinergies or something. I'm perfectly content with it though. |

| re: Paging Superlight Owners..... | paulesk177 Mar 11, 2002 10:13 PM | | Hmmm...You guys got me wondering if my bike is really 22.9lb. I weighed all the components seperately on my buddies gram scale. Then frame on a gym scale. Added all the weights together and that's what i got. Maybe that isn't the way to go...perhaps my buds scale is a piece 'o crap. Dunno...??
Heheh....maybe I forgot to weigh the wheels!! =P |
