Good Spin Class Music: Any Ideas?????Ellsworthracerguy

I've been teaching a spin class for about a year 2x a week and have exausted my CD collection. I tried going into Best Buy and finding good music without spending a fortune and that was like trying to find the needle in a haystack.

Anyone go to a spin class with good music...what do they use? Any instructors...what works for you?

Thanks.

its a fusion of african rythms, celtic melodies, and electronica that will get anyone going. my sister uses it in her classes and gets a very positive response. volumes 1 and 2 are excellent as well. it may be hard to find at an average sound store, but any place with an excellent world beat selection should have it. it is produced by Peter Gabriel's Realworld studios. Enjoy!

My instructor makes mix CDs and plans intervals according to the music. Zappa is great for high cadence/sprint stuff. Violent Femmes are good too.
Moby seems to work well for warm-up and cool down.

The beats per minute on some tracks can inspire some very fast spinning. Try well know stuff like Prodigy, Fatboy Slim and Apollo 440. Or try a Happy Hardcore Album or some kinda mix like it. You don't want music with lyrics right?
