HELP!!!! REAR DERAILER HANGER NEEDED!!!!geckout

I am looking for a rear derailer hanger for a '97 GT avalanche LE....mine is bent badly and nobody carries any around here due to GT recently being bought by pacfic....so if anyone out there knows how i can get my hand on one i would appreciate the news!!!! thanks for your help!!!

find thier number and call em. They should have them, if they dont, your SOL. heh heh. Try the classifieds also. Good Luck!!

I'm not sure but I think the type A is what you need for a GT hardtail, and type B is for the full-suspension I-drives. And I don't know if these are aluminum or steel.

His name is Bart. he owns an LBS in Charlotte, NC and is selling them for $30 (includes shipping). I've been corresponding with him, as I may be getting a GT bike soon. He says that he had his rear d hangers made out of a type of steel that could be bent back a few times, which sounds good to me.
