Voodoo???JBurton

Do any of you guys know if Voodoo is still in business? I have emailed a couple of times about my bike and can't get any response. The Website is still up and running, but no one seems to be minding the store...

Incidentally, my question to Voodoo is whether or not I can get a sticker set for my Bizango. I am thinking of having it repainted (Very poor stock paint...chips way too easily and I am concerned with corrosion) and wanted to get some stickers to replace the old ones. Does anyone know if this is possible?

Are you serious?! That's awful. Thanks for the info...and if anyone else has any other information, I would appreciate it. I am new to this messageboard, so I apologize if I have asked a redundant question.
Just curious...JBurton

What might this do to the resale value of my Bizango?
Because of the lack of factory support....BCRider

I'm actually very, very happy with my Voodoo. Except for the poor paint quality, the bike is put together very well and rides like a dream. I wouldn't part with it. I was just curious as to what happens to a frame manufacturer's product value should the company go under. It does make me sad that an independent company like this couldn't serve customers well enough to stay afloat. Guess I'll have to take gentle care of this bike so that it can last my lifetime...
Aw.... shucks..BCRider

There's certainly no reason why it shouldn't last a long time. I'm assuming it's a hardtail so it won't need bushings or whatever. But I wouldn't let that hold you back from using the bike. It would be a pain but if the frame does eventually meet its maker, so to speak :o), but at least you enjoyed it while it was here. And good frames will always be available. It's only money after all.....

Happy trails...
I've gotten more than my money's worth already...JBurton

In the two years that I have ridden the bike. Yes, it is a hardtail and I have previously taken very meticulous care of it. Looks like it will get more meticulous now!

OK so i am not attached to Voodoo Cycles, i do however own 3 of their bikes. About a year ago the owner of Voodoo Cycles decided he wanted out of the game. What i have heard is that his employees were interested in keeping the company going so they began to restructure. Its been a year and still nothing so i guess its safe to assume that nothing has come of this restructuring. Who knows.Somebody is paying to keep the site up. I do know that Voodoo frames are incredibly well built. I own two hardtails, one steel and one Al, and a FS. I had to replace my bearings on the FS this spring, but other than that its been amazing. I droped the stock shock and put a stratos on it, has made a big diffrence. Thats about it for me. If anyone out there has any Voodoo stuff let me know, like a skull burst longsleeve jersy, or a messenger bag.

and I powder-coated it. Then I asked about stickers on here, and a guy in CA sent me a set just for asking.

I'll send him a buck or two when I remember it.
If anyone would be gracious enough to do the same for me...JBurton
