| Maintenance Checklist | Kriz Apr 3, 2002 7:20 AM | | My Wahoo (I got it late last fall) has been sitting under a tarp all winter and I'm ready to take her out and get back on.
Can anyone recommend a good maintenance checklist of things I should do to get her to ride-ability ? ie: What should be tightened, replaced, greased, etc??
Thanks much
Happy riding

Relube yoru fork, and pay attention for the first couple of rides, in case a seal dried out and split. Check your cables for rust/corrosion, and replace them if they've gotten squirrely looking.
Just give 'er a general once-over, top to bottom. You'll spot anything that's goofy pretty quickly.

Tires are flat, guess they need some air ;-)
You think i should replace the tubes even though the bike is only 6 months old?
Everything esle sounds pretty logical

| I would....... | heff® Apr 3, 2002 5:35 PM | | .........replace the tubes, because you don't know if they're dry-rotted or not. Strange things happen to a bike when it sits. Cheap fix, easy to do, might as well.
