| Smelly Jerseys | Adel Apr 3, 2002 8:55 AM | | I prefer to use non-scented laundry detergents - because the perfumes are irritating to my allergies. But after washing, my jerseys still smell! Perfumed laundry detergents leave them smelling clean, though I suspect they are simply "covering" up the smell with a stronger perfume. Anyone else notice this? What's the best way to get these babies clean. I know they'll end up smelling quickly, but I like to start off a ride in a fresh jersey. I've tried several brands of detergent, to no avail.

Try as you might you will still end up stinking after a few minutes back in the saddle on a hot day. |
