Innovations I'd like to see(4 posts)

When I ride, I tend to get a lot of ideas, many about cycling products I'd like to see. Here's a few of them. If any of these things exist, let me know.
1. Brake levers/ shifters I can remove without sliding off the end of the bar. I would like to be able to switch between a flat and riser bar without removing the grips. This doesn't seem like it would be all that difficult, maybe this exists? Or maybe there's a reason they don't do this.

2. Many of the rides I do I like to start out at a higher tire pressure than I end. I climb at 40-50 psi, descend at 35-40 psi. Many of the rides I do are climb, climb, climb, descend. So, I would like a very small device I could put on the tire valve that would deflate the tire to a predetermined pressure. I realize this doesn't take too long with a pressure gauge, but I'd like something I could keep in my pocket, be off the bike and back on within seconds with a new tire pressure. I know, this one's a bit silly.

3. Some way to safely listen to music on my bike. Small speakers the could sit on the shoulders or mount to the Camelback. It would have to be close enough to the ear to hear the music and not be disruptive to other riders, hikers, etc. With the mp3 players on the market even the most epic riders could ride without changing tapes, cd's, etc. BTW, I am accepting donations so I can get an iPod. Oh man, those are cool.

Back in the early 80's I bought a radio that was in a 2 1/2 foot long soft, flexable rectangle shape with a padded lycra cover that wrapped around your neck over your shoulders had 2 speakers that sat face down resting on your collerbone. It was called a "bonefone".
I used it mainly for downhill skiing but also for riding an early from of MTBing on BMX bikes. I could here it like I was wearing headphones but no one else could (unless it was turned way up). They quit making them, and it quit working years ago, but it would be great if it was resurected as a mp3 player.

I had a buddy with one of those things. He let me borrow it and I loved it. I always wanted one,but his was the only one I ever saw. I imagine it would be a snap to make one for MP3

Re#3
What do you think about an MP3 player that mounts on your helmet? Uses earphones not speakers though...
