EVERYTHING gets posted to "General Discussion". The absolute, rank beginner stuff belongs where? The tool/tech stuff goes where? etc.

Most of the more techinical questions are in the sub divided forums. Have you even checked the other forums? Look and you will see that EVERYTHING does not get posted in General.

and I have clearance issues with the floating caliper arm with respect to the remote Avalanche DH3 resevoir.

Is this a problem, generally?

...in the passion forum if singlespeed was dropped! I shudder to think of the flame wars!

And it would really suck to have multiple forums combined into one. It already takes me forever to scroll through passion or general discussion alone. No one's questions would ever be answered since they would be pushed into "next 50" in a matter of hours.
